Despite that we are still under movement control order (MCO), we can still celebrate with our friends, colleagues and neighbours as long as it is in line with the Islamic values. For Chinese Muslims, celebrating CNY is part of their ethnic identities which they are born with and proud of their cultures and customs. For non-Chinese Muslims, this festival can still be rejoiced by attending CNY events to strengthen our ties with our Chinese friends and colleagues.
