The Wacky Monologues In Our Thoughts

Do you spend a lot of time nerve-wrecking about things you have no control over?  Or you seem couldn’t get your mind off your worries. You most probably have tonnes of monologues to yourselves repeating “what if” events.

Well, I am afraid to tell you this, you might have over thinking signs.

You need to start to train your brain to focus more on positive sides. If you were pulled into the overthinking realm, switch your brain channel to something more productive.

Please do not dwell on the past, not so much. Instead, teach yourselves to live for the present and plan for the future.

Don’t spend a lot of time constantly remind yourself of mistakes or wondering about the hidden meaning in things people say. It kills you.

If you have these signs, most likely you are over-thinking peeps. Not healthy for your mind and body, plus it is a bad habit.

Just like Amy Morin wrote in Inc.com article, ‘Time spent developing creative solutions or learning from your behavior is productive. But time spent overthinking, whether it's 10 minutes or 10 hours, won't enhance your life.’

Try to practise mental health exercise such as focusing on problem solving and creative thinking. Embrace your personality of being you and not someone else. Accept failures as equal as you accept successes, find your silver linings, lessons learned from the events.

Slowly you will come through with positive attitude and behaviour. Build your inner self again. It’s hard, but you need to start some time, why not now? Take a small step, it’s okay but consistently engaging in more positive self-talks to help you override your wacky monologues.

Good luck!

Malaysia Merdeka: From a Health Perspective

Since independence, Malaysia has made remarkable progress developing the healthcare system. During the pre-independence period, while urban areas had better access to healthcare facilities, these were still limited. Rural areas were more heavily impacted and had to rely on traditional medicines. The disparities in healthcare access between urban and rural areas were prevalent, with urban areas typically benefiting from better facilities and resources. This has resulted in unequal health outcomes and access to essential services. In the early years following independence, efforts were focused on addressing the healthcare needs of the population and expanding the healthcare infrastructure, which included the development of new hospitals and clinics in both urban and rur...

Nagomi Art : Hope and Healing

I decided to try a Nagomi Art session just out of curiosity. Honestly, I’m not great with art, drawing, or even picking colours. But since I had some free time and the workshop was free, I thought, why not? After the class, I got curious and started digging into its history. Here's what I found: Norikatsu Hosoya, the founder of Nagomi Art, was inspired by a deeply personal experience involving a close friend who was seriously ill. During his friend's hospitalization, Hosoya created a pastel artwork of cherry blossoms to lift his friend’s spirits. He accompanied the gift with an invitation to see real cherry blossoms together once his friend recovered.  The gesture of hope and healing left a profound impact when they eventually fulfilled this promise. This episode opened Hosoya's eyes to the potential of art as a tool for emotional healing and a source of optimism, which later became a cornerstone of the philosophy behind Nagomi Art. 7 Facts about Nagomi Art 1. Origins: N...
