Start Caring Your Hair With These 8 Tips!

We always see on TV how shiny and silky hair the models, actors, actresses and TV personalities flaunt their strands.  Women and men alike will be proud and happy if they have beautiful shiny hair with styles for their manes. Who isn’t?

Caring for your crown is as important as your skincare routine. We cannot deny overall appearance with healthy-looking hair unquestionably boost our confidence. You sure feel good about yourselves. 

We are come with worries if our hair starts to dry, accumulate dandruff, bristle and worse our hair are thinning. 

So, let’s have some hair care routine.

Here are the hair care tips that will make your tresses look healthy, soft and shiny.

1. Fundamental tip would be to find the right brush for your hair. If you have thick hair, a bigger brush or a wide tooth comb would be suitable. 

Don’t comb your hair while it’s wet but wait till it damp. Towel dry your hair with care, do not rub it roughly.  


2. Choose shampoo and conditioner that suitable for your hair. Sometimes you need to try few haircare products to find the right one. If it makes your hair dry, more dandruff or tangled hair, stop immediately. 

Please read the label and avoid harsh chemicals such as SLS and parabens.  

 

3. Over shampoo kills hair natural oil, leaving hair dry and brittle. So don’t shampoo more than once a day or too long. 

Rinse with cold water is good after hot shower to protect and seal hair cuticle.


4. Hot water damages the hair and so with blow dryer, flat iron and hot curlers. Try to minimise the use or apply protective coating hair product to protect the strands from the heat. 


5. Like our face, the tresses also in need of hydration and moisturiser. You can apply it with hair cream or hair lotion, oil or serum. These are products that will moisturize your mane.

Make sure to apply away from scalp but only slather it towards hair ends. Jojoba oil, argan oil are great nutrients in hair products.


6. A healthy scalp will grow healthy hair. Massage your head in shower while shampooing. It helps with blood circulation and encourage hair growth. Apply hair growth product or go for hair loss treatments if your hair starts to thinning or balding.  


7. Omega intake such as fish oil, walnuts, avocado or flaxseed oil are nutrients that promote healthy and shiny tresses. Not only good for hair but also on general health of our body. Vitamin B and E are also encouraging hair growth. 


8. You can do hair mask at home or visit your favourite salon for hair treatment biweekly or once a month. It helps to nourish, soothe and hydrate the scalp. Pamper yourself away and end up with beautiful healthy locks.
